What is more terrifying: condemnation or the world’s utter indifference to our suffering?
Shapes resembling withered, bleeding fruits or faces frozen in a silent scream sprout amid deceptively beautiful pink flowers. The tree a symbol of life becomes a silent witness to decay. Pink ceases to be the color of innocence and becomes the hue of a pulsating body.
The fruits are fragments of damned souls and rotten hearts. True hell need not lie deep beneath the earth it can grow quietly within us, hidden beneath aesthetics and the mundane.
I’ve framed it. This is the ultimate irony: an attempt to confine infinite suffering within the boundaries of matter and create the illusion of control. But death mocks these boundaries and spills beyond them with a poisonous, pink light.
This is not a decorative painting. It is a mirror. Look into it and see your true face the one that is rotting from the inside. Do you have the courage to accept it?
