Try this delicious one-pot sardine dish using your new tote bag:
Ingredients:
- 1 can of sardines
- 1 can/jar of anchovies
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 1 package of frozen green beans
- 4 low-starch potatoes (salad potatoes)
- 20 cherry tomatoes
- Fresh parsley
- ½ block of butter
- Juice of half a lemon
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- ½ cup of dry white wine
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
1. Prepare the ingredients: Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into cubes. Mince the garlic. Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half.
2. Sautéing: In a large pot or skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until aromatic, but not browned.
3. Adding potatoes: Add the cubed potatoes and stir for a few minutes. Then add the frozen green beans and halved cherry tomatoes.
4. Adding sardines and anchovies: Open the can of sardines and add them along with the anchovies to the pot. Pour in the ½ cup of white wine, the lemon juice, and add 1 tablespoon of sugar. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Cooking: Cover the pot and cook over medium heat for about 15-20 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the flavors meld together.
6. Serving: Before serving, sprinkle fresh parsley over the dish. You can serve it straight from the pot as a hearty, one-pot meal.
